“Third-fire" decoration is an ancient technique used to fuse color onto the porcelain glaze. I draw inspiration from literature, cinema, and art of all kinds. I love illustrating porcelain, creating pieces that tell a story. Each object is decorated with specialized pigments and then fired in a kiln at 780 degrees. What began as a purely functional item acquires aesthetic and sentimental value.
